We took the task of designing a brand identity for the new Wroclaw culture hub. Our goal was to come up with a design that will be beloved by the target group, that will make the new hub stand out, and will make the hub recognizable on the cultural map of Wroclaw.
We built the brand from the ground up. We started with the strategy for the hub. Then, we proposed the name, claim, and logo. Finally, we have created the brand book, proposed events for the hub, and created a language style guide.
The name and the claim – PIEKARNIA: ŻYWA KULTURA (THE BAKERY: LIVE CULTURE) – were inspired by the hub’s building, which used to be Wroclaw’s garrison bakery. The building’s stand-out feature is twin chimneys. Their depiction can be found in the logo.
